At Erlebach Hut, we also think of our smallest guests! We have prepared a cozy kids' corner with climbing frames, hideouts, and beautiful drawings featuring our mascot, Erlebášek.

Fun for Kids in the Grand Hall
On the second floor, right next to the hotel reception, is the Grand Hall, which is the perfect place for children's entertainment. If it's not being used for specific events, it is freely accessible to our little visitors.
Children can play giant "Ludo," create and paint with materials we provide at designated times. In the evening, we screen popular fairy tales, and during the main holiday season, we regularly organize programs with a kids' disco and competitions.
From spring to autumn, both children and adults can enjoy the outdoor chess set located on the main terrace near the reception. Not only will they exercise their logical thinking while playing, but they'll also enjoy the fresh mountain air and the beautiful views the terrace offers
Entertainment for older children and a peaceful place for shared moments
On the second floor, you will find the Erlebach Lounge, originally the panoramic restaurant of Erlebach’s Chalet. This space is ideal for older children and adults who want to enjoy entertainment or a quiet place to relax.
The lounge features a billiard table and foosball, perfect for sporty and competitive individuals. For those who prefer relaxation, there is a quiet zone designed for social games with family or friends or for evening reading in a cozy atmosphere.
Occasionally, we also use this space as a cinema, where we screen movies and fairy tales for children in the evening. The lounge is located just a short distance from the restaurant, allowing you to combine enjoyable entertainment with a delicious meal.
An unforgettable adventure for your children
For animal and adventure lovers, we offer a unique opportunity to experience guided horse rides. At the St. Francis Resort, our three horses – Parid, Hector, and Smart – are ready to take you on a peaceful ride through the beautiful mountain landscape.
This activity is exclusively available to guests of Erlebachova Bouda. The routes are designed to be safe and relaxing, with a maximum duration of one hour.

Wellness for the whole family – relaxation and fun for children
At Erlebach’s Chalet, both adults and children can enjoy wellness! Our wellness center is designed to offer relaxation and entertainment in a safe and comfortable environment.
The 9 × 4-meter pool provides space for swimming as well as a paddling area where children can play safely.
The bio-warm room (daily from 15:00 to 21:00) offers pleasant warmth for both young and old visitors—children can warm up while enjoying water fun, and parents can relax in the lounge area with a stunning view and access to an outdoor terrace.
⏰ Pool opening hours: 09:00–21:00
Children under 12 can use the pool until 19:00, after which we create a calmer atmosphere for adults.
Whirlpools are accessible to children from 09:00 to 15:00.
Saunas in the pool area are available for children daily from 15:00 – featuring a BIO tepidarium, steam sauna, and infrared sauna.
A private Finnish sauna is available upon reservation and for the fee – if your family enjoys traditional Finnish sauna experiences, you can book it for a private session.
Massages for the little ones – our experienced masseuses offer special children’s massages for maximum relaxation of even the youngest guests.
Winter Fun for the Whole Family
At Erlebach’s Chalet, we are happy to lend you high-quality sleds or bobsleds so you can fully enjoy winter fun with your children. You can explore the surrounding area on your own or try the 4 km long sledding track, which starts just 50 meters from the hotel at the final station of the small Malý Šišák ski lift. This lift operates daily, weather permitting.
We do not have a ski equipment rental directly at the hotel, but if you are interested in ski lessons, we will gladly provide you with contact information for a ski school where you can arrange private lessons
Hiking for Families – Discover the Beauty of the Krkonoše Mountains
Thanks to the ideal location on the mountain ridges, you can go on short or longer hikes with your children, depending on your physical abilities. You will find picturesque mountain trails, breathtaking views, and cozy mountain huts for rest.
TIPS FOR FAMILY TRIPS:
Short routes for smaller children:
✅ Petrovy Boudy, Dvořákova Bouda, Ptačí Kámen and back – an easy and beautiful walk along the ridges with stunning views of the Krkonoše Mountains.
✅ From Josefova Bouda along the yellow trail to the hut at Bílý Labe – a pleasant route with a chance to rest and refresh at Bílý Labe. Plus, it's an educational trail called Čertova Strouha.
✅ Stroller-friendly tip: The route to Moravská Bouda is perfect for the smallest adventurers. Along the animal trail, your little ones will discover 14 life-size Krkonoše animals.
Challenges for more experienced hikers:
✅ Sněžka – The highest peak in the Czech Republic is worth the climb!
✅ Labe Spring – If your children can handle a 20 km hike with minimal elevation gain, they will be rewarded with a visit to one of the most famous spots in the Krkonoše Mountains.
